HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY Contempt Case No. 111 OF 2015 ORDER :

This Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of the orders passed by this Court dated 21.08.2014 in W.P.M.P.No.29752 of 2014 in W.P.No.23731 of 2014 wherein this Court has directed the respondent University to fill up the admissions for the academic year 2013-14 in accordance with the relevant regulations. Counter affidavit along with memo of compliance dated 01.07.2015 is filed by the respondent in pursuant to the orders passed by this Court dated 21.08.2014 stating that 18 candidates including the petitioner appeared before the University on 30.06.2015 and out of that 17 candidates were admitted in Ph.D part-time in Telugu and one candidate admitted in M.Phil Part-time in Telugu. The petitioner also deposited Caution Deposit of Rs.1,000/- and admission fee of Rs.7,350/- before the Andhra Bank, Dravidian University Branch, Kuppam on 30.06.2015 and the University also issued admission proceedings to the candidate and thus complied the orders passed by this Court.

Heard Sri B.V.Madhava Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Sri B.Parameshwara Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.

In view of the categorical statements in the counter affidavit as well as in the memo of compliance filed by the respondent along with the documents, I do not find any violation of the order passed by this Court. Hence, Contempt Case is liable to be dismissed. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the admissions made by the respondent are not in accordance with the relevant Regulations. If that being so, the petitioner can challenge the same by way of appropriate proceedings before the competent authority, as the

same cannot be considered in the Contempt Case. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any pending in this Contempt Case, shall stand closed. _________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 07.07.2015.
