HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA CRIMINAL PETITION No.13853 OF 2013 ORDER:
The present Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'the Code'), is filed requesting to quash the proceedings in Crime No.456 of 2013 of Chaderghat Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offence punishable under Section 3 (1) (x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
2. No representation for the petitioner.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana would submit that the petitioner, in fact, filed Crl.P.No.1711 of 2014, under Section 482 of the Code, requesting to quash the proceedings in P.R.C.No.5 of 2014 on the file of VIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, arising out of the same crime viz., Crime No.456 of 2013 of Chaderghat Police Station, Hyderabad, and this Court, by order, dated 28.02.2014, allowed it on compromise being entered into between the parties and, therefore, the present Criminal Petition renders infructuous.
4. The order, dated 28.02.2014, passed in Crl.P.No.1711 of 2014 is perused.
5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the present Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
