THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.SHANKAR NARAYANA CRIMINAL PETITION No.8023 OF 2014 ORDER:

Sri M.A.K. Mukheed, learned counsel for the petitioners - accused, is present.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana would bring to the notice of this Court that this Court referred the matter to the High Court Legal Services Committee, so as to place the matter before the Lok Adalat, and the Lok Adalat has passed an Award on 06.08.2014, and therefore, the present petition has become infructuous.

3. Original Award, dated 06.08.2014, passed by the Lok Adalat held at Hyderabad is finding place in the file, whereby and whereunder, crime No.142 of 2013 of Women Police Station, Central Crime Station, Hyderabad, which is sought to be quashed now, was closed, in view of the understanding and agreement entered into between the parties by way of terms of compromise, dated 30.06.2014.

4. In view of the same, the present Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
