SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.7927 of 2013 ORDER:

This petition is filed seeking for quash of the proceedings against the petitioners, who are A2 to A5, in C.C.No.750 of 2012 on the file of the IV Additional Junior Civil Judge, Guntur. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 498‐A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard the counsel for the petitioners, the Public Prosecutor appearing for the 2nd respondent and of Sri N. Subba Rao, the counsel for the 1st respondent.

The Public Prosecutor files a memo stating that the matter underwent trial and the accused are convicted by virtue of the judgment, dated 27.10.2015, passed by the IV Additional Junior Civil Judge, Guntur.

Hence, in view of the above, no cause of action survives for adjudication and no further orders are necessary. 5.

Accordingly, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
