Petitioner wants to participate in the counselling process for admission into MBBS/BDS course for the academic year 2025-2026 under management quota "B" and "C (NRI)" categories in the additional stray vacancies or in the next phase of counselling for the academic year 2025-2026 as her name did not appear in the rnerit list for competent authority quota despite participation.

Leamed Standing Counsel for the University submits that admissions to MBBS/BDS course under management quota have been closed by 20.1 1.2025. Therefore, there are no possibilities of any counselling for admission to any leftover vacancies. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.12.2025 in case there are any stray vacancies still going to be filled up after counselling.

In view of the aforesaid circumstances and submissions, though it appears to the Court that the admission process itself is closed, but in the event any exercise is likely to take place for counselling for any leftover vacancies for MBBS/BDS course for the academic y:ear 2025-2026, the University shall decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. lt is rnade clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
