Writ Appeal No. 408 of 2015 PC: (Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Learned counsel for the appellants does not press the appeal and seeks liberty to the appellants to make a representation to the Special Investigating Team (SIT) requesting them to exhume the dead bodies for second postmortem in the course of investigation.

The appeal is disposed of as not pressed. It is open to the appellants to make an application, as aforementioned, and if any such application is made, we hope and trust that the SIT considers the same in accordance with law and in proper perspective. While making this observation we shall not be understood to have issued any direction as such to the SIT or to consider the petitioners' prayer that they propose to make by way of representation.
