HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 2111 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner/A1 seeks to quash the proceedings against him in C.C No. 934 of 2010 on the file of XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, for the offences under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 4 & 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the case status information in respect of C.C.No. 934 of 2010 on the file XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, and submitted that the case was closed as withdrawn on 20.10.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 934 of 2010 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
