In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A.2 to A.8 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No.169 of 2013 of the P.S., Golconda, Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the letter, dated 21.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Golconda Police Station, Hyderabad, and submitted that the case was referred as 'lack of evidence' on 29.10.2014. No representation for learned counsel for petitioners. In view of the above submission of learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
