There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "... to issue an appropriate writ or order or direction more particularly in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not considering the representations of the Writ Petitioner dated 03.05.2012, 17.04.2013 & 03.06.2013 as illegal, arbitrary, malafide, colourable exercise of official powers and the same are violative of Articles 14, 15 & 21 of the Constitution of India and thereby consequently direct the Respondents to consider the application of the Petitioner and order for re-investigation into the death of his daughter Nanditha unless in due process of law and pass..."

Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3 brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.50 of 2009 was registered. Pursuant thereto, an investigation was conducted and after completion of investigation, final report was filed before the concerned Court on 13.11.2009, referring the same as 'death by hanging'.

In that view of the matter, if the petitioner is not satisfied with the final report, the remedy available to him is to file a protest application, as per law.

In the light of the above said facts and circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
