Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.
In this writ petition, the petitioners seek grant of pattadar passbook and title deeds in respect of the land in Survey Nos.122, 125 and 99 admeasuring Ac.16.00, Ac.06.00, and Ac.6.12 cents respectively at Lingamgunta Village, Maddipadu Mandal, Prakasam District.
The case of the petitioners is that an award was passed in their favour in the Lok Adalat Case No.549 of 2010 on 15.07.2010 and based on that they made three representations dated 01.04.2011, 01.10.2015 and 19.12.2015 to the 3rd respondent. Alleging inaction on the part of the 3rd respondent, the present writ petition is filed.
Evidently, no application in accordance with the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 is made by any of the petitioners nor requisite fee is paid. Therefore, their request in the present writ petition cannot be considered. However, the petitioners are at liberty to make proper application in accordance with the Act by approaching the 3rd respondent and as and when such application is received by the 3rd respondent, he shall examine the same and pass orders on merits in accordance with law expeditiously and communicate to the petitioners. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
