THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.39721 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for petitioners, Sri B.Narayana Reddy, learned Assistant Solicitor General appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2, learned Government Pleader for Services appearing for respondent Nos.3 and 4 and Sri Ch.Jagannadha Rao, learned Standing Counsel for 5th respondent.

Petitioners obtained a degree in B.Sc. (Vocational) Dry Land Agriculture from P.G.College of Science, Osmania University, Saifabad, Hyderabad. Petitioners seek to be considered for the post of Agricultural Extension Officer under the control of respondent Nos.3 and 4 on the basis of the said qualification and contend that the said degree obtained by them is equivalent to B.Sc. (Agriculture). They placed reliance on a letter dt.03-09-2004 in F.No.CRIDA-OU/2004 issued by 2nd respondent addressed to the 3rd respondent to include B.Sc. (Vocational) Dry land Agriculture also as one of the qualification for recruitment for the posts like Agricultural Extension Officers/Agricultural Officers and Multi Purpose Extension Officers in the 3rd respondent's control.

Learned Government Pleader for Services appearing for respondent Nos.3 and 4 states that if the petitioners submit a representation to the 3rd respondent enclosing copy of the proceeding

MSR,J W.P. No.39721 of 2016 dt.03-09-2004 issued by 2nd respondent, the 3rd respondent will consider the same and take appropriate decision in the matter. 4.

Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to submit a representation to the 3rd respondent enclosing copy of the proceeding dt.03-09-2004 issued by 2nd respondent and on receipt of the said representation, the 3rd respondent is directed to take appropriate decision within three (03) months from the date of receipt of the representation. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
