THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.38574 of 2015 ORDER :

Petitioner in this Writ Petition has questioned a show cause notice dt.29.10.2015 issued by the 2nd respondent asking the petitioner to show cause why the stocks seized from him should not be confiscated to the Government.

2. It is not the case of the petitioner that 2nd respondent had no jurisdiction to issue such a show cause notice.

3. In this view of the matter, this Writ Petition is dismissed directing the petitioner to submit his explanation, if any, to the said show cause notice within two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the 2nd respondent shall pass a reasoned order thereon within a period of eight (08) weeks there from. There shall be no order as to costs.

4. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
