HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.2054 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1 to A6 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.126 of 2012 on the file of III Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kakinada, East Godavari District, registered for the offences under Section 498-A, 420 r/w 34 IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 04.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Pedapudi Police Station and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 23.11.2013 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.126 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
