This Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/A-20, 24, 29, 31, 38 and 39, for grant of anticipatory bail in the event of their arrest in Crime No.102 of 2018 of Chirala Rural Police Station, Prakasam District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 468, 471, 477-A, 409 and 120-B read with 34 I.P.C. 2.

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioners/A-20, 24, 29, 31, 38 and 39 have not filed any bail application before the Court of Sessions. At that juncture, learned counsel for the petitioners/A-20, 24, 29, 31, 38 and 39 submits that he would not press this bail application. 3.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as not pressed giving liberty to the petitioners/A-20, 24, 29, 31, 38 and 39 to move a bail application before the Court of Sessions in accordance with law.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
