Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri G.Seshadri, learned Standing Counsel for Panchayat Raj and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent Nos.2 to 4 in protecting the road (cart way) passing through Survey No.290/ 12 of Dosakayalapadu Village of Thalluru Mandal in Prakasam District by preventing respondent No.5 from undertaking encroachment into the said cart way, despite repeated representations submitted by the petitioner along with other villagers, as illegal and arbitrary'.

Though various grounds are raised, the learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to respondent No.3 to pass appropriate orders in the representation dated 15.12.2016 made by the petitioner seeking protection of cart way.

Learned Government Pleader submits that the said representation may be directed to be disposed of, if the same is still pending consideration.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-authorities to act on the representation dated 15.12.2016 made by the petitioner, after hearing the petitioner and respondent No.5, in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
