Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the sixth respondent.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the respondents in not registering the crime against the 6th Respondent in spite of several complaints given by the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the 4th Respondent to register a case against the 6th Respondent and investigate into the case and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4 placed on record the copy of the First Information Report dated 23.12.2019 registered against the complaint lodged on 20.03.2013. 4.

Since the grievance of the petitioner is the inaction on the part of the respondents in registering the crime against the sixth respondent and as it is already registered, no further cause would survive in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
