None appears for the petitioner inspite of listing the matter under the caption 'for dismissal'.

A perusal of the record discloses that petitioner is challenging the Assembly Elections conducted during May, 2014 and the tenure of said Elections also has come to an end and subsequent Elections were also held.

In view of the above, Election Petition has become infructuous as the tenure of the Assembly Elections which were under challenge in this Election Petition has come to an end. Accordingly, the Election Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
