O R D E R

The Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of BNSS praying this Court to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioneraccused, in connection with Crime No.199 of 2025 of Market Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for offences punishable under Section 69 of BNS.

The case of the prosecution is that the de-facto complainant lodged a complaint before the Police on

21.11.2024, wherein she stated that she, along with the petitioner, used to work in SBI Credit Card Company from the year 2022 to August 2025. During her tenure in SBI Credit Card Company, she met one Ch. Raju Reddy, who was employed as a Team Leader of the said SBI Credit Card Company. It is further stated that by taking advantage of his position, he used to misbehave with the de-facto complainant and also established a physical relationship with her under the guise of marriage. Thereafter, he refused to marry the de-facto complainant. As such, she requested the Police to register a case. Based on the same, the Police registered the case.

Heard Sri Neeraj Prasad, learned counsel for petitioner as well as Sri D. Arun Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent - State. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner is innocent and that there was a consensual relationship between petitioner and de-facto complainant from the year 2022 to 2025, knowingly that the petitioner herein is already a married person. Therefore, there

is no question of attracting Section 69 of BNS and prays the Court to grant the petitioner on bail.

On the other hand, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor opposed the same submitting that the alleged offence against the petitioner is serious in nature. Therefore, he is not entitled to bail and requested the Court to dismiss the application. 6.

Considering the submissions made by both parties, it appears that petitioner herein and de-facto complainant was in a relationship since 2022. According to the averments in the complaint, initially, the petitioner herein allegedly forced the de-facto complainant to indulge in the physical relationship with him but at that time no complaint was lodged against the petitioner by the de-facto complainant. Hence, this Court deems it fit to grant bail to the petitioner, subject to compliance with the following conditions: i.

The petitioner shall surrender before the Station House Officer, Market Police Station, Secunderabad, within two weeks from today, and on such surrender, the said Station House Officer shall release him on bail on executing a personal bond for

Rs.25,000/-, with two sureties, for the like sum each.

ii.

The petitioner shall abide by the other conditions stipulated in Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and co-operate with the Investigating Officer in investigating the case.

iii. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Investigating Officer on every Monday for a period of (08) weeks or till the filing of the charge sheet, whichever is earlier and thereafter, as and when required.

7. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is allowed. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
