CVNR,J & PKR,J W.P.No.38205 of 2018 01.11.2018 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for issue of Habeas Corpus directing respondent Nos.1 to 3 to produce before the Court, respondent No.5 viz., Mrs.G.Swathi Priya from the illegal custody of respondent No.4 and set her at liberty. 2.

Respondent No.3 filed a detailed counter-affidavit. In substance, he has taken the stand that after registering the complaint given by the petitioner as crime No.285 of 2018 under the head 'woman missing', various steps were taken to trace out the missing woman and that in spite of all those efforts, her whereabouts could not be traced. From various steps taken by the Police as narrated in detail in paragraph Nos. 4 to 6 of the counter-affidavit, we are of the opinion that the Police have been making sincere efforts to trace the whereabouts of the missing woman.
