HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 1946 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/A3 seeks to quash the proceedings in CC No. 72 of 2013 on the file of VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal, Cyberabad, registered for the offences under Section 380 IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 19.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Shamirpet Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 13.10.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 72 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
