THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.K. JAISWAL CRIMINAL PETITION No.9904 of 2016 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in Crime No.36 of 2012 on the file of the XVI Metropolitan Magistrate at Kukatpally, Miyapur, Cyberabad, registered against the petitioner/A-2, for the offences punishable under Sections 65 and 72 of the Income Tax Act. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/A-2 and the learned Public Prosecutor, representing the State. When the matter is called, it is submitted by the learned public prosecutor that the police have already filed a charge sheet before the trial court.

In that view of the matter, Criminal Petition is dismissed, however, it is open for the petitioner to avail the other remedies available to him as per law.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
