THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.6997 of 2016 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is as to the proceedings dated 10.02.2016 of the Tahsildar, Dachepalli Mandal, Guntur District, whereby the services of the petitioner for providing mid-day meals at the MPP Elementary School, Muthyalampadu, were terminated.

2. Perusal of the impugned proceedings reflects that the petitioner was not afforded any opportunity of hearing in the context of the complaint made against her and the report submitted thereon by the Village Revenue officer, Mutyalampadu. This is in flagrant violation of the principles of natural justice and also the procedure prescribed.

3. On this short ground, the impugned proceedings dated 10.02.2016 are set aside. This order shall however not preclude the authorities concerned from initiating action afresh, if warranted, in accordance with law and the principles of natural justice.

The Writ Petition is allowed to the extent indicated above.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. _________________________
