ORDER:

Information sought for by the petitioner was furnished as is evident from the order of the State Information Commissioner. Petitioner, however, seeks that the power and jurisdiction of the Women Police Stations may be specified. On the said request, however, the State Information Commissioner felt that the said request would not stand covered by the application made by the petitioner under Section 6(1) of the Right to Information Act, which is already disposed of by the impugned order dated 31.12.2015 of the State Information Commissioner.

2. Hence, as rightly held by the State Information Commissioner, it is open to the petitioner to make a fresh application under Section 6(1) of the Right to Information Act, if she desires and obtain any further additional information. I do no see any reason to interfere with the impugned order, as the petitioner has the liberty, as stipulated in the impugned order.

The writ petition is dismissed. As a sequel the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ______________________ VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR, J February 5, 2016 DSK
