THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.2476 of 2014 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "..to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to consider the application dated 20.11.2013 in terms of the programs, guidelines or instructions introduced and release 30% cash incentive and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Heard Sri D. Madhava Rao, counsel for the petitioner, and the Assistant Solicitor General appearing for the respondents. It has been contended that the petitioner is the proprietary concern and got registered with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. It is also stated that the benefits available to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are not being extended to the petitioner. In those set of circumstances, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 20.11.2013 to extend the benefits and also release 30% cash incentive in favour of the petitioner, but so far the respondents have not passed any orders on the said representation. Therefore, counsel for the petitioner had submitted that appropriate orders be passed directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 20.11.2013 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

The Assistant Solicitor General appearing for the respondents had contended that the petitioner's representation would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law. This Court, having considered the submissions of learned counsel for respective parties, is of the considered view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 20.11.2013 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
