THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.38328 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home, apart from perusing the entire material available on record.

When the matter is taken up, written instructions, dated 24.10.2018, furnished by the Sub Inspector of Police, Bachannapet Police Station, Jangam District, are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader.

The said instructions, to the extent of their relevance to the present Writ Petition, are as under:

"The facts of the case are that the third respondent had lodged a complaint on 15.10.2018 with the second respondent, stating that her marriage was performed with the petitioner eight years back and during the wedlock two female children born and thereupon her husband and in-laws harassed her mentally and physically for additional dowry and, therefore, she gave Rs.3.00 lakhs but still the petitioner continued the harassment and on the complaint of the third respondent the second respondent had enquired into the matter and called the petitioner for counselling but the petitioner did not attend the same and in this regard entry was made into the General Diary and informed the same to the third respondent.

It is further submitted that except receiving the complaint from the third respondent and enquired into the second respondent did not interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner at any point of time and it is incorrect to say that the second respondent harassed and threatened the petitioner and favouring the third respondent and it is also incorrect to say that on20.10.2018 the father of the petitioner visited the second respondent police station and he was detained in the police station and the contention of the petitioner is not correct and baseless".

By placing on record the above written instructions Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent-police

authorities to act strictly in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
