FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA & THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH (Special Original Jurisdiction) MONDAY, THE SIXTH DAY OF APRIL TWO THOUSAND AND FIFTEEN PRESENT THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.7613 of 2015 BETWEEN Gangineni Kondala Rao ... PETITIONER AND The State of Andhra Pradesh, rep. by its Chief Secretary and others ...RESPONDENTS The Court made the following:

ORDER:

Heard.

2. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that in spite of his complaint dated 20.02.2015, respondent No.3 is neither entertaining the same by giving acknowledgment nor taking up any further action.

3. Instructions of the learned Government Pleader, however, show that respondent No.3 has made thorough search, but did not find any such complaint pending before respondent No.3 nor there is any endorsement received from the Superintendent of Police, Guntur. However, it is stated that as and when petitioner approaches respondent No.3-police station, appropriate steps will be taken.

4. In view of that, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent No.3 and file appropriate complaint. If such a complaint is filed and if the same makes out a cognizable offence, respondent No.3 shall take appropriate action in accordance with law.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
