Petitioner complains against inaction in disposing of representation dated 15.09.2016 as illegal and arbitrary. 2.

Through representation dated 15.09.2016, the petitioner requested respondents 3 to 5 to renew licence No.C/ 220 standing in the name of petitioner's father by transferring the same to him and permit the petitioner to do business in the Agriculture Marketing Committee, Palamaner.

Since the petitioner's grievance is against inaction in disposing of the request of renewal of licence, as the petitioner's family is dependant upon the occupation carried out by petitioner's father, this Court is of the view that a suitable direction can go to respondents 3 to 5 to pass orders on representation dated 15.09.2016.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by this order: Respondents to are directed to examine the request/ representation dated 15.09.2016 within six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the decision to petitioner. Petitioner is given liberty to communicate copy of this order to respondents within one week from today. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
