When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, submits that the petitioners had retired from service and that the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication and hence, it has become infructuous.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
