THE HONOURABLE MR JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.2990 of 2015

ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for APSRTC.

2. Petitioners seek that they are entitled to special grade increment on completion of 20 years of service. Since their grievance is similar to the one considered in W.P.No.25195 of dated 28.08.2013, this Writ Petition is also disposed of with the following similar direction;

"This writ petition is allowed directing the APSRTC to consider the petitioners' cases for granting special grade increments on completion of 20 years of service by considering their total service in the Corporation irrespective of the regions and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order".

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
