This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., is filed by the Petitioners/A-1 and A-2 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.188 of 2018 of Nizamabad Rural Police Station, Nizamabad District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323 and 506(1) of I.P.C. and Sections 3(1)(S) and 2(Va) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 (for short, 'the Act of 2015') 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Public Prosecutor, appearing for the 2nd respondent - State.

Learned counsel for the petitioners does not press upon the other grounds mentioned in the Petition and he only seeks that a direction be given to the Police concerned to follow Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. 4.

Hence, considering the above, the Criminal Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Police concerned to follow Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. before affecting the arrest of the petitioners/A-1 and A-2. 5.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this Petition shall stand closed.
