ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.322 of 2015 of Bahadurpura Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 409 and 420 IPC, against him.

2. It is alleged in the complaint given by the Curator of Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad that the accused has produced a false caste certificate and obtained job as Watchman under Scheduled Tribe Quota and therefore, requested to take necessary action against the accused. Based on the said complaint, the aforesaid crime was registered against the accused.

3. Heard and perused the material on record.

4. Apparently, the allegations in the complaint do not disclose the ingredients of offences punishable under Sections 406 and 409 IPC, however, the investigating agency is at liberty to alter the charges at the time of investigation. Since the matter requires thorough investigation, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation without making arrest of the petitioner/accused and file a final report, if any.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
