This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Crime No.3 of 2013 of Begumpet Police Station, Hyderabad.

The petitioner is the sole accused in the said crime. On a complaint filed by the 3rd respondent on 02.01.2013, the police registered a case in Crime No.3 of 2013 for the offences punishable under Sections 170, 420 IPC read with Section 511 IPC against the accused. Learned counsel for the petitioner and respondents 1 and 3 are not present.

Heard learned Public Prosecutor for the State. Learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter dated 27.02.2018 addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Begumpet Police Station, Hyderabad City, stating that investigation has been completed in this case, charge sheet was filed and the case was numbered as C.C.No.1 of 2013 on the file of the XI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Secunderabad.

Since the charge sheet has been filed in this case, the quashing of proceedings in Crime No.3 of 2013 has become infructuous. Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
