Heard Sri Venkateswara Rao Gudapati, learned counsel for the petitioners, and Sri Venkateswarlu Nimmagadda, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2.
2. Apprehending demolition of the petitioners' properties bearing D.No. 21-1-100, Assessment No.76561, T.S.No.216, and Door No.211-95, Assessment No.24488, T.S.No.169 respectively situated at Ambatisatram Junction, Vizianagaram, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.
3. Learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2 submits that the Corporation has been making efforts to acquire the above mentioned properties of the petitioners through consent under Section 146 of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955, failing which, it will follow the procedure prescribed under Section 147 thereof. 4.
Recording the afore-stated stand of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, the writ petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ____________________ JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR February 19, 2016 LMV
