2. Petitioner herein alleges that he is a tenant of a portion in the house bearing No.12-46, Gannavaram village belonging to respondent No.4. On 08.12.2014, respondent No.5 has unlawfully entered into the said tenanted portion and threatened him to vacate the house claiming that he has purchased the house from respondent No.4 and has abused the petitioner and his wife in filthy language in the name of their caste. On account of the said alleged acts of respondent Nos.4 and 5, petitioner gave a complaint

dated 08.12.2014 to respondent No.3. However, alleging that no action is taken on the said complaint, the present writ petition is filed.

3. Learned government pleader, on instructions from respondent No.3, states that on the basis of complaint of the petitioner, a case in Crime No.39 of 2015 was already registered on 28.01.2015 and as per the orders of the Commissioner of Police, Vijayawada, the Assistant Commissioner of Police is entrusted with the investigation of the case and the investigation is under progress.

4. Since the crime is already registered and is under investigation, in my view, no further orders are necessary except directing the investigating officer concerned to take appropriate steps to investigate the matter and then follow up further steps in accordance with law. With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
