This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the proposed auction scheduled on 17.07.2015 by respondent No.5 for granting leasehold rights of the land admeasuring Acs.8.00 in Sy. No.479/2 of Musunuru Village and Mandal, Krishna District, as illegal and arbitrary.

At the hearing, Smt. K. Lalitha, learned Standing Counsel for Endowment Institutions (AP), on instructions submitted that respondent No.5 has not been proposing to hold any auction as alleged by the petitioner. Mr. Sreenivasa Rao Velivela, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that in the light of the said statement of the learned Standing Counsel, the writ petition may be disposed of by placing the same on record.

The above noted statement of the learned Standing Counsel is placed on record and the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.
