HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.36264 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners-Accused Nos.2 to 5 under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.133 of 2015 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

The main grievance of the petitioners is that A1 is the son of the 1st petitioner and the husband of the de facto complainant and that the present complaint has arisen out of matrimonial disputes between A1 and the de facto complainant and that the petitioners were falsely implicated in the above crime.

The petitioners filed this writ petition challenging the investigation in the above crime. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation. However, considering the grievance of the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on merits, the 2nd respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report, in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioners.
