THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.845 of 2016 ORDER :

Heard counsel for the petitioner and the Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for the respondents.

2. In this Writ Petition, petitioner alleges that the proceedings under Section 6A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (for short 'the Act') initiated against the petitioner on 19.09.2015 are not being concluded by the 2nd respondent.

3. The Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for respondents states that the 2nd respondent will dispose of the 6A proceedings on or before 31.03.2016.

4. In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the 6A proceedings initiated against the petitioner, on or before 31.03.2016. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
