THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO TRANSFER CRIMINAL PETITION No.341 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner under Section 407(2) Cr.P.C. seeking to transfer S.C. No.72 of 2013 pending on the file of the Assistant Sessions Judge, Chodavaram, Visakhapatnam District to any other Court of Assistant Sessions Judge at Anakapalli or Narsipatnam or Yelamanchili.

On 23.12.2014 the matter was directed to be listed on 26.12.2014. No stay was granted by this Court earlier. Today, when the matter has come up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Admittedly, the case pertains to the year 2014. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioner at this length of time.

Accordingly, the Transfer Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J February 16, 2016.
