THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.22791 of 2016 ORDER:

It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioners that, in similar circumstances, this Court directed the Government to constitute authority under Section 51 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (for short 'the Act'). The same is not disputed by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition.

Though the Act came into force on 01.01.2014, till now, no authority has been constituted by the Government. Since the authorities have to refer the claim of land owners for enhancement as well as disputes between the claimants, this Court in other writ petition already directed for constitution of the authority under Section 51 of the Act within time frame.

Accordingly, Writ Petition is disposed of directing the constitution of authority under Section 51 of the Act within the time framed already fixed earlier. Miscellaneous Petition pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of. However, in the circumstances, without costs.
