THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION NO.38699 OF 2018 ORDER: {Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice Ramesh Ranganathan} Heard Sri B.Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Y.N.Lohita, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation and, with their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. After arguing for some time, Sri B.Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner is willing to repay the entire amount due with interest within six months from today.

As this Court, in judicial review proceedings under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, would neither undertake the exercise of rescheduling the debt from the petitioner to the respondent-Corporation or to grant instalments for repayment of the said amount, suffice it to dispose of the Writ Petition permitting the petitioner herein to submit a representation to the respondent-Corporation requesting them to grant the petitioner six months time to liquidate the entire dues inclusive of interest. We have no reason to doubt that, on receipt of such representation, the respondent-Corporation will give such a representation its due consideration; and take a decision thereafter in accordance with law.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
