Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology.

Since it is stated that the application of the petitioner dated 9.9.2016 for grant of 'NOC', enabling him to seek appropriate license for sand quarry, is pending with the 3rd respondent - Tahsildar, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the said application in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
