ORDER:
Petitioner claims to be resident of Nuzillapalli Village and Member of DWCRA group. As per the procedure envisaged by the State Government, members of the DWCRA groups are granted loans under various schemes and those amounts are repaid. The DWCRA groups in the village have held a meeting for formation of second Village Organization i.e., VO-2. It is permissible to have more than one village organization if DWCRA groups are more than 25. In the instant case, there are 38 DWCRA groups. Therefore, there is necessity to have second group. Even though resolution was passed as early as 27.09.2013, as no action was taken, representation was submitted on 28.07.2014 requesting the 2nd respondent to conduct audit and allot the funds as required. Alleging that no action is taken on the representation submitted by the petitioner, this writ petition is filed.
2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader placed before this Court a letter dated 23.08.2015 written by the Project Director, D.R.D.A., Ongole. According to the instructions furnished to the learned Government Pleader, it appears that audit was already taken up as requested and audit work would be completed by the end of August, 2015. It is further stated that once audit work is completed, appropriate funds will be released to village organization-2 of Nuzillapalli village also. In view of the said statement of the Project Director, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Project Director (2nd respondent) to ensure that audit work is completed as stated in the letter and based on the audit report, appropriate funds as required to be released within a period of four weeks thereafter. Copy of audit report also to be furnished to the village organization No.2 of Nuzillapalli Village. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
