A.Satti Reddy v. The State Of Telangana
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R. KANTHA RAO Writ Petition No.20119 of 2015 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj-R.1 & R.2, Sri M.S.R.Chandra Murthy, learned Special counsel for R.3 & R.5 and Sri G. Narender Reddy, for R.4.
2. The petitioner was working as Field Assistant of Peelaram Village, Vikarabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. On certain allegations against the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted and he was terminated from service on 13.10.2014. Against the said termination order, the petitioner preferred an appeal to the 2nd Respondent-District Collector on 07.03.2015, which is pending. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that without following any procedure, the petitioner was terminated from service. In any event, since the appeal filed by the petitioner is pending before the District Collector-2nd respondent, I am not inclined to go in to the merits of the case.
3. Consequently, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-District Collector, to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
