ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the inaction of 3rd respondent in taking action against the accused in Cr.No.99 of 2016 dated 16.03.2016 and submitting the final report before the concerned Magistrate though 9 months have been passed from the date of registration of the crime, as illegal and arbitrary. 2.

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home informed that the petitioner has vacated his premises and even on issuance of notice, he is not cooperating with the investigating agency and therefore, the police could not able to file the charge sheet.

Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to cooperate with the investigation and he prays that a direction may be given to the 3rd respondent to complete investigation and file a final report. 4.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, I deem it appropriate to direct the petitioner to appear before the 3rd respondent on every Saturday for a period of 4 weeks to record his statement, and on such appearance, the respondents are directed to complete investigation and file a final report, if any, in accordance with law.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
