This petition is filed, under Section 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code, seeking grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is A1, in Cr.No.294 of 2018 on the file of the Station House Officer, Karimnagar II Town Police Station, Karimnagar District. The offences alleged are under Section 370 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3, 4 and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. 2.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The allegation against the petitioner is that she is running a brothel house and that A3 confessed with regard to the said prostitution.

Learned Public Prosecutor opposed the bail petition stating the statement of witnesses is not completed.

Hence, considering the nature of the offence and the nature of the allegations, this Court does not find it a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

Hence, the criminal petition is dismissed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J November 2, 2018 DSK
