Heard Sri B.S.S. Prasad, learned Counsel for petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader (Revenue) for Respondents. 2.

The petitioners, apprehending cancellation of house-site pattas granted in their favour in Sy.Nos.53/ 3 and 55/ 1 situated at Madhavapatnam village, Samarlakota Mandal, East Godavari district without following the procedure stipulated by law, have filed the instant writ petition.

On 15.03.2016, this Court granted interim stay and protected the possession of petitioners. The Tahsildar/ 4th respondent filed a petition to vacate the said interim order. In the counter-affidavit, Respondent No.4 states that there is no proposal for cancellation of house-sites granted to the petitioners. Further, if action is warranted in future, the 4th respondent will follow the procedure stipulated by law.

The statement of 4th respondent is placed on record, and the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
