ORDER:
The grievance of the petitioner is that though a proposal is made by the Mandal Parishad Development Officer to appoint the petitioner, the petitioner is not appointed in Arakuvelly Mandal.
2. When the matter is taken up, learned Special Counsel representing the 2nd respondent reports to the Court that selections were finalized and another person is appointed as Field Assistant on 26.11.2016. Since the post of Field Assistant in Arakuvelly Mandal is already filled up, no direction as sought for in the writ petition can be granted.
3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any such appointment, he shall work out his remedies as available under law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
