ORDER:

The case of the petitioners is that they are the owners and possessors of the ancestral property i.e., agricultural dry lands to an extent of Ac.6.00 in Sy.Nos.84, 85, 86, 87, 88 and 89 situated at Padumaru of Mangapet Village and Mandal, Warangal District. In the year 1985 the Sub Collector, Mulugu, issued notification under Section 4(1) and declaration under Section 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1984 dated 23.07.1990 and took possession of Ac.2.00 cents for the purpose of laying

road from Ethuru Nagaram to Mannuguru leading from Badrachalam via Mangapet. The Land Acquisition Officer passed award dated 31.09.1991 and on reference under Section 18 of the Act, the same has been numbered as O.P.No.60 of 2009 on the file of the I Additional Senior Civil Judge, Warangal District. Subsequently, on 3rd respondent issuing notice under Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Land (Conversion for Non Agricultural purpose) Act, 2006 stating that the petitioners have not obtained permission for conversion of land from agricultural to non-agricultural purpose, the petitioners filed an application dated 10.02.2014 before the 3rd respondent. Thereafter, the 3rd respondent called for a report from the 4th respondent, who after conducting enquiry submitted his report dated 30.05.2014. Complaining that so far the 3rd respondent did not pass any orders on their application, the petitioners filed the present writ petition.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (T.G) for respondents.

Considering the short relief sought for by the petitioners, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider the application dated 10.02.2014 submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. No costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. _____________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J.
