ORDER
This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "...to issue a writ, order or direction more in the nature of Mandamus declaring the prescription of upper age limit at 25 years by the 5th respondent for appointment to the post of Village Electrical Worker in Gram Panchayats under the control of the respondents 1 and 2 in 5th respondent's Lr.No.GM (IR) AS (IR) POI/561/A1/2001, dated 23-10-2001 as illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable, ultravires, irrational and violative of Arts.14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution and consequently struck down the said condition and direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Village Electrical Worker and pass such other and further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper".
While admitting the writ petition on 26-04-2002, this Court in WPMP No.10605 of 2002 directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Village Electrical Worker.
In pursuance of the said the direction, if the petitioner was appointed, his appointment shall not be disturbed. If he was not selected, the same may be communicated to him, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
