The grievance of the petitioner is that the revenue authorities have not acted upon his representation for issuance of a pattadar passbook and a title deed in respect of certain property in Sy.Nos.28/1P, 28/3 and 28/5 situated at Gommugudem Village, Charla Mandal, Khammam District.

The petitioner appears to have addressed a bald representation on 19.01.2015 to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Bhadrachalam, which was forwarded to the Tahsildar, Charla, under letter dated 16.04.2015 of the Revenue Divisional Officer.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue however points out that the petitioner would necessarily have to apply in accordance with the due procedure prescribed under the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, and that without an application in the prescribed format along with necessary fee, the petitioner's request for issuance of a pattadar passbook and a title deed cannot be acted upon.

In the light of the statutory procedure prescribed for obtaining a pattadar passbook and a title deed, the writ petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to apply strictly in accordance with the due procedure prescribed under the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, for issuance of a pattdar passbook and title deed in respect of the subject land. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
